A launch creates the coin on StonkFun and queues a Rune. The bridge etches it on Bitcoin (a commit, six blocks, a reveal) with the coin's exact supply premined to a published reserve address. That is the only time runes are ever created.

To move across, you burn on Solana. The bridge watches for finalized burns that carry the runepad:v1: memo, verifies each one through two independent RPC providers, and pays them from the reserve in batches. The signer that releases runes runs on a separate machine and re-checks every batch against its own rules before signing.
